Milwaukee-Waukesha, WI (1888PressRelease)August 05, 2013 – William Nicholson, president of BugVibe LLC, recently announced the official launch of their first product, BugVibes™- Japanese Beetle Kit. After years of trying alternative methods to fight Japanese beetles with little success, BugVibes™ was invented.
BugVibes™ attaches to an individual tree/plant and uses vibrations to target a pest’s “fight or flight” reaction. Vibrations are felt through hands/feet/claws/antenna and are used to indicate a nearby predator. Each BugVibes™ device includes user selectable vibration profiles and ambient light and temperature sensors to help target beetles at their peak.
These devices are intended for use on dwarf and semi-dwarf trees along with some plants and vines. Most applications thus far have been centered on protecting fruit trees, wisteria, and grape vines. Protecting our Most Valuable Plants, BugVibes™ is a safe and effective alternative to sprays/insecticides and manually picking Japanese beetles off of individual plants. The BugVibes™- Japanese Beetle Kit is pesticide free and a great way to keep food safe to eat (and organic)- especially for prime targets like fruit trees!
