1sec Inc. is pleased to announce that it has raised a total of One hundred million funds from venture firms and other business investors in order to accelerate its global expansion.
Founded in January 2019, 1sec is a next-generation creative production company that designs, develops, and manages its own projects, including Japan’s first virtual influencer, in-house. The funds raised in this instance will allow the company to further upgrade its development system, accelerate the global expansion of its IPs, and launch an AI project, among other initiatives.
“In 2020, Japan will host its first Olympics in 56 years. With Japan in the global spotlight, I believe that made-in-Japan IPs that can thrive on the world stage are possible, in the form of virtual influencers. That belief led me to found 1sec.” said Hirokuni Genie Miyaji, CEO of 1sec.
