The Chair Drive movie opens with a close-up face shot of a Japanese salaryman in a suit. As the salaryman looks at the camera and nods, the camera pans out. It turns out to be his ought method of commuting by his office chair. The ironic yet true setting of the video shadows the reality of unreasonably high automobile tax rates in Japan. The Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) wants to address such issues through the power of creativity and at the end of the video, mentioned that the association is working toward a reformation of the costly system.
