QuickLogic Corporation (NASDAQ: QUIK), the innovator of ultra-low-power programmable Customer Specific Standard Products (CSSPs), today announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Marubun Corporation, one of the oldest and most respected Japanese distributors. With its broad line card and extensive sales, marketing, and technical resources, Marubun will increase the exposure of QuickLogic’s customizable and catalog CSSP solutions in Japan.
Marubun provides total semiconductor solutions from marketing to technology. In addition, their business model, which emphasizes close ties with customers at the point of contact between customers and suppliers, is well aligned with QuickLogic’s collaborative customer engagement approach.
“Japanese companies tend to be at the forefront of technology in the mobile market. Our CSSP solutions support that innovative spirit by enabling rapid product development and differentiation.
